Greetings CSA Members:

Thank you to those of you who made it to our last meeting with our CamSA affiliate at UC Davis this past Wednesday. For those of you who did not, we went over some things that will be going on at the end of this month and the coming month. Sacramento State will be starting school next week, and we welcome anyone who would like to volunteer and attend at the CSAS booth for the first 2 weeks. If you’re interested, just drop by the booth or you can email us about it.

We will be having our first joint event with our CamSA affiliate next Friday, January 29, 2010 at Memorial Union Games Area in Davis for bowling. Come on out, join in on the fun, and socialize with everyone. Hope to see many of you there. If you have any inquiries concerning the event, please do not hesitate to contact us.

We also went over topics such as fundraising for this coming month of February, and we are hoping to be able to sell chocolate roses during the week of Valentine’s Day. This will be discuss further in our next meeting which will be held at Sacramento State (room number and time details for our meeting will be sent out in a later reminder).

Lastly, for those of you who are interested and/or will be attending the 14th Annual Listen to the Silence Conference at Stanford tomorrow on Saturday January 23, 2010 we hope you will have a great time. We encourage many of our members to register and attend the event in hopes that they would be able to network amongst other organizations as well as promoting our organization to theirs. As well as following our mission statement to promote Cambodian culture and its awareness to other organizations.
